On the motion of Councillor Budd, it was resolved to ask that the' matter be reconsidered, on - the-ground that previous experiments had been justified. ■ '■ On the advice of the borough engineer (Mr. R. S. Rounthwaite), it'was, decided to have the water fittings and some of the meters in Kaiwarra inspected. , Authority was given for the supply of certain additional material asked for by the" -Kaiwarra Volunteer . Fire Brigade. A heated disoussion took , place over a proposal to erect a street lamp in Lochiel Road, Khandallah,. but eventually the proposal was agreed to on the voices. !..
