CHAMPAGNE Tho High Commissioner reports :— London, December 8, 1.15 a.m. ,"In the Champagne district there was . a continued light for the possession of tho advance trenches south of Sarntsonplet. Our counter-attacks enabled us to capture a great part of tho lost trenches. • "Otherwise tho bombardment Is gen--oral." .
