WATERSIDE WORKERS CONFER
A conference of 'representatives of Waterside Workers' Unions throughout New Zealand commenced yesterday, in the Accountants' Chambers. Twelve unions were represented. Mr. F., Curtice declined nomination to tho ohair, and Mr. L. Glover was appointod 4 to preside. Mr. J. G. Bruce was appointed secretary, and a Press Committee was appointed to supply a report of the prococdings. _ The afternoon was occupied in a discussion on tlss advisability of forming h federation of waterside workers' unions of New Zealand. Tho conference resumes to-day.
