I At tho inquest -coucerning the death of the woman ltnoivii as Jl'Kec, and lier child, wlio were murdered b>; a halfcasto named George Gordon yesterday the sister of the deceased woman said that she did not know if deceased and Gordon were married, but members of tlio family always bolicved that they wore man and wife. The Coroner (to the chief detective)Do we know anything different from tbftti Tho Chief Detective: It is "enerally understood that Gordon had a °vife living. The Coroner: In the absence of other evidence we can assume' that they were ( married. Miss M'Kee, continuing, eaid that it was the intention of her sister to leave Gordon. ' The inquest was adjourned.
