Dr. M'Nab is convinced that the real trouble regarding recruiting is one of lethargy. • A great number of - people have the idea that the final result is assured, and consider that being so why should they worry themselves. _ His whole object is to state tho position without exaggeration, but m the most serious vein possible. He has found that once the people realise tho position they arc quick to respond, lhe tone of all his meetings left 110thmg to be desired. He believed the real benefit of thom would be found in keener organisation and more spirited effort. .
