RIFLE-SHOOTING
. GROUP RIFLE ASSOCIATION'. A meeting of the Group Rifle Association was held at the Garrison Hall last evening. ' The following officers were present:—Group Commander Major Corrigan, Captain M'Farland, Captain Willoughby, Lieutenants Mellor, Rankin, Felton, Hobbs and Duffy, 2nd Lieutenants Miles, Smith, and Banks, and Messrs. Marshall, Hunt, and M'Donald. The following committee was elected: Lieutenants Felton, Roberts, White, Hobbs, Rankin, and Findlay, aiid Mr. Marshall; chief range oflicer, Mr. H. Marshall; range officers, Capt. M'Farland and Lieut. Rankin; trench officers, Lieutenants Felton, Lewis, and Banks, and 2nd Lieut. J. A. Duffy. It was decided to hold the meeting at Trentham on January 1, 1916. Entries close on December 29. A copy of the programme will be sent to all officers commanding units and rifle clubs. Officers ing units are to be asked to assist in making the meeting a- success. The programme is based on service lines, i.e., precisely 'Che samo as fired annually by Territorials, Rifle Clubs, and Cadets.
