Letters were received from the oity tramway department with reference to certain alterations in tho time-table. Tbo matter wa6 referred to tlia tramway committee. Tho Mayor of Wellington (Mr, J. P. Luke) forwarded a copy of the AVar League circular, and asked for tho Miramar Council's support. , It was stated _ Unit tho rates were becoming increasingly difficult to collect, and it was finally decided that all rates not paid by -January 31, 1916, would bo subject to a 10 per cent, increase.
