. The Summer Tourist Time-table on the Wangahui lliver starts on December Ist. Steamers leave Taumarunui—the head of this great scenic attraction—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Innovations have been introduced into this Summer time-table, so as to make tho trip even more pleasurable than hitherto. Early risings at Taumamnui are avoided and provision is made for the pleasant stop over-night at tho House Boat—except on the Saturday trip, -when an express steamer run is made right through to Pipiriki. The Presbytery of Wellington advertises in this issue the opening in Hobsori Street, Wellington, of a preparatory and secondary day and boarding school for boys, on February 1, 1916. The principals are Mr. S. R. Dickinson, M.A. (lnte principal Leslie House School, Hobart), and Mr. G~ H. Uttley, M.A., M.Sc., F.G.S. (late first assistant and house ' master at WaitaUi Boys' High School). Application for admission should be made to the Rev. Dr. Gibb, St. John's Manse, Wellington, from whom further particulars, prospectus, etc., may be'obtained. Large supplies of fish continue to arrive for the Municipal Fish Market. The manager reports a busy week,. the fish coming to hand in good and opening up well. It is, stated that a large supply will be on hand this morning, aiid to effect a speedy clearance, Saturday being a half-day, a slight reduction in prices is to bo made.
