A well-known' resident of Auckland, especially in athletic circles, Mr. George Donaldson, died at his residence in Union Street this week. Mr. Donaldson, whose death was sudden, was only 48 years of age. The deceased was closely connected with football activities. Tho route march for to-morrow will bo in the direction of Makara. The party will moot at the foot of Boulcott Street at D.25, so as' to get away at 5).30 sharp. Members will bring their own'lunch, and will bo able to obtain a cup of tea at their destination. The inarch will take place, wet or fine, and thoso who are unable to devotb the afternoon to it as well as tho morning, will break off at a convenient point, and march back to reach town by lunch timo.
