The German newspaper "Berliner Tugeblatt," in an interesting survey of tbe German limited liability companies, reveals the fact that, many of the factories which are turning out machinery are paying no dividends. Except three, all the electricity_ arid gas companies lmve ' reduced their dividends. Shipping and hotels "are making no profit, cement and alkali factories are losing heavily, while the textile, industry has been hard hit. SUBMERGED SUBMARINE SUNK AN "ACCIDENTAL" OCCURRENCE.
