'RESOLUTION OF THE TRADES COUNCIL. •■Xt a meeting of the "Wellington Trades and Labour Council held last night the following resolution, .was. . passed: ■ " - '"That this council considers that the agitation in favour of conscription is not justified by the present and further expresses the. opinion that a. situation of sufficient gravity to justify its introdnction will necessitate the nationalisation of all the material re- : sources of the' country,' to ensure that iho sacrifices of one class will not mean tlio enrichment, of anotbor."-
