THE KAISER & ANTI-CHRIST
(To' the . Editor.) Sir, —The .Kaiser's attempt .to incite the Mohammedan's to join him in a holy war against the Allies', indicates,. . that , lie is. the "anti-Christ", whose; . coming was foretold at; the dawn .oF the Christian era,. .Should lie succeedin enlisting the aid of the.anti- Chrisi tian races, then the ,whole of Christen- . dommust be prevailed upon to rise in • ! arms and overthrow' . this arch, anti-' Christian monster. America must be -.. made to realise that the issues of the, ■ . . war have widened - out to • a conflict i which involves the very existence ■ of' , ■ Christianity, .and that she must, do .her .. part in the Armageddon which the Kaiser has forced upon the world. ' The Kaiser's militarism has always been typical of;anti-Christ, and the way in which he crushes' small nations, his ruthless destruction of defenceless '. people and sacred edifices shows his ./antipathy to all Christian rules and ethics. He must therefore be proclaimed in all quarters of Christendom as humanity's arch-fiend "anti-Christ," . whose end it is the first duty and obligation of every follower of Christ to en- ' cojnpass. The battle-cry which must •ring over the whole world has got' to be "Christ versus anti-Christ," in order that peace and goodwill, the keystone of,1 Christianity, shall prevail for'all timeon earth. The end of the present war will not be reached till this inspiring call goes forth from end it> end of Christendom.—l am; etc., . . r F.\T. .'MOORE; Johnsonville, November 30.
