PATRIOTIC CONCERT

On Friday evening, the' French' Club, assisted by leading; artists, are giving a patriotic concert in aid of the French Red Cross Society, which, in; view of the magnitude of the work it has undertaken on a battle-front of over 350 miles, is in'urgent.heed of funds. A very interesting programme has been arranged,', including items by Mile, du Busson (in costume), Miss Janet Anson (winner of tho gold medal presented by the French Club, who will recite in Freiich Victor Hugo's "Apres la Bataille"), Jtiss Natusch, Miss Zita Chapman,. Mr.- J..M; Clark, Mr. W. B.' Hudson (who will give an interesting lantern lecture of the historic chateaux of France), Mr. Leo Biickeridge, Mr. F. V. Waters.The programme will concludo with a little French comedy entitled "Le Testament de Mdo. Patural," ill which the following will tako part: .—Mile, du Busson, Miss Mead, Miss Hulme, Miss Forbes, and Miss Prendergast. Box plan is now open at the Bristol.
