The section ia splendidly situated in the centre of the town. The Manawatu Patriotic Society is disposing of , the property by art union, tickets for which are selling at the price of half a crown. That there need be no doubt about tlie value of the property, twenty keen business men of Palmerston North have undertaken to pay ,£2OOO cash to the lucky winner, should he or Ae wish to sell. ,£2OOO for 2s. 6(1. is a great prize, and-with the additional fact that the half-crown will heln the n-ounded soldiers there is euro to "be a good response;.
