. SEAMAN KILLED. V . A seaman named Donald M'Neill -was killed ■in Willis Street last evening through being knocked down by a tramcar. Tho 1 deceased was crossing the street near the Windsor Hotel, . and avoided a tar traversing one set of rails, but did not notice that a car running in the opposite'direction was close upon Mm. | The car struck*him heavily, and he .sustained injuries' from which he died in a few minutes.'i Deceased had been living with his brother at 10 Ghuznee Street, and had only just left him when the "accident occurred. He was single, 33 years'old, and, had been employed on the s.s. Hawera.
