London, November 29. 'l'hs Press Bureau states that MajorGeneral Dobell's Franco-British forces are gradually drawing a ring around the Germans in the Cameroons.

Tin) Allies have inflicted heavy losses on the enemy, whose centre o£ resistance is on the high ground around' Jaunde, while the Germans in the North Cameroons are no better. They have been broken up into small parties, which Brigadier Cunliffe is pursuing. Tho French troops in approaching Jaunde accomplished a remarkable feat in African warfare in fighting their way across the German Gameropns from Frenoh Equatorial Africa. Ths French have occupied Makondo, after inflicting heavy losses on the Germane .
