NATIONAL RESERVE

. The Thorndon, Wadestown, Kelburn, Ngaio, Northland, Central, Brooklyn, Wellington East, and Wellington South sections of- the National Reserve are to combine in a battalion parade at the reserve at tHe top of Nairn Street next Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. It is expected that considerably more than 1000 men , will be on parade. The weekly drill of the ThorndonWadcstown and Kelburn sections will take place at Kelburn Park at 7.30 this evening, and in viow of Saturday's Battalion parade a full muster is expected. In view of the advantage to intending candidates .for enlistment the reserve affords as a moans of gaining an insight into military drill, men of military age who contemplate' at a later, date enlisting for active service, are' particularly-iriyited to attend drill and enroll in their respective districts..
