LAWN TENNIS
PUBLIC SCHOOLS' TOURNEY. , The public schools' annual tennis championships were commenced on Saturday morning, the boys' singlos and doubles being played at the Wellington Club's courts and the girls'- singles and doubles at t'lio Brougham Hill courts. The entries for the tournament total 393, comprising 325 primary and 68 secondary scholars. The secondary schools' tour, nament does not 1 start until Saturday next. • •
