HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. The ew bill to bo presented l>y tli.o Fuller vaudeville management at Hi's Majesty's Theatre 10-niglit promises to be ono of the most attractive yet presented, no fewer than nine fresh acta being billed. Poiemosfc of these are Nelson and Nelson, two Amerioan acrobats, who perform a ! number of difficult feats upon st ilts. '.Hie La Franco Bros., also newcomers, are balancersVhose performance is stated to be a most novel one. George Dixon, another American importation, will contribute a musical melange, in which, it is stated, is introduced much clover hum-' piu\ Gerald E. GriiYen is an Irish entertainer, who, in suitable costume, will sing & number of Irish songs and reel off Hibernian anecdotes. Other novelties, all ro claimed to be of headline quality, will bo tho Lcroys, a pair of Lnglish duetfcisfcs, and O'Shea and Carter, who Wyl stage a new musical scena, enw« •* rl? The programme will be repeated nightly during the week, and a matinee will be given on Saturday. THE KING'S. *
At tho King's Theatre to-night a programme that promises to bo of moro than usual merit will be shown for the first rw'u ii attraction, Maurice tostello, the popular pioture actor, has been featured _ in a big Broadway star <<m ti Vitagraph Company, entitled :J. no Evil Men Do." The picture tells a story of love, which, though thwarted for many years through the duplicity of a scoundrel, at length is consummated ill nappy union. It is said that Maurice Costollo is seon nt his best, and that his two clever children are al6o seen to advantage. The play is an impressive one,, with many-.striking situations, and lias been vm well spoken of wherever shown. larticularly strong supporting pictures have been selected, including an interesting comedy-drama by the Majestic ComPJ n .Vj A Ton Cent Adventure/- a story of scholboy life that is eaid to- be very cleverly arranged. "Shocking Stockings" is pure farce, but is stated to be genuinely funny, while "Cartoons on a Beach" is another of the clever Edison artist's (Raoel Barros) amusing skits. A beautiful scenic study, and the latest Gazette ars also included ;n the programme.
EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. To-day, at noon, will see the beginning of n week of fun-frivolity, when Keystone's laughable comedy, "Battle of A.mbros<) and Walrus," which features Chester Conkliu and Mack Swajn, will be shown at Everybody's. The knockabout scones and humorous situations depicted make a picture that will be responsible for much laughter. A drama of a powerful nature, "In the Path of the Exhas some very sensational incidents, and shows how the Black Hand gang's machinations aro defeated by tho aid of Jones, tho butlor. Tho eleventh episode of the "Million Dollar Mystery" is described as ano of the best yet produced. Child dramas are always popular, and in "Not Wanted" Edison's have produced a play that must appeal to everyone. The Gaumont Graphic is a war number. The music will bo by the Symphony Trio (Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Bloy and Mr. P. Johnstone). THE EMPRESS. To-day's new programme is headed by an .Edison star foaturo in 3000 feet entitled "What Happened on Tho Barbuda." Dr. Dislow is making a trip to South America, to attend a patient. His daughter Ruth accompanies him on The Barbuda. Whilo ou tho high seas the crew mutinies, and lock up tho passengers and oifl cere. The vessel runs ashore on an island, and the gang go ashore and force Hull to accompany them, When ordered to make some ooffeo for the mutineers she does so, and places in its some morphia tablets she had brought with her in case the worst should come.- Sho escapes to the ship and manages to free one of the officers, who 6ends a wireless call to a U.S. warship, which arrives in. time to tako prisoner the gang. There is a charming romance, and any amount of thrill and realism in the portrayal, which is well enacted by Edison 5 most talented players. In support are: Cliffs of Flamuorough (soenic), "Faithful to the Trust" (Komic film), and the newest War Gazette.
