OAMARU WOOLLEN COMPANY. ■ The annual report of the directors of the Oamaru Woollen Factory, Co., Ltd., states that the result of the year's operations must be conswlprod satisfactory. The net profit earned lor, the year amounts to. £4125 14s. 4d., to which has to be added' the sum brought forward from last year, £836 7s. 10d„ making a. total of £4962 2s. 2d. From this total an. interim dividendV of 4 per cent, was paid ini June last, absorbing £1314 Is. 7d., and it is now recommended that a further dividend be paid at the same rate, making 8 per cent, for the year, and amounting to £1314 Is. 7d., leaving a balance to bo carried forward of £2333 19s. ' Trade during tiic past year has been well maintained, considerable quantities of khaki, materials having been required for tho equipment of the Expeditionary Forces. The plant has been kept at a .high standard of efficiencyand additions during the year have been made to the value of £155 9s. 4d. The sum of £264 Us. sd. has been written off for depreciation.
