CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS

,' Dunedln, November 24. ' _Tho Otago A. and P. Show was opened to-day in showery weather. Tho entries total 863, as against 889 last '■: year, the decrease being mainly due to the fact that no pigs came forward. A very high standard was attained, and 'competition was keen in most classes. :
