KARORI BOROUGH COUNCIL
Tho ordinary meeting of the Karori Borough Council was held last night. The Mayor (Mr. B. G. H. Burn) Occupied the chair, and there were also present: Councillors A. Hamilton, R. Jairc, T. Lover, J. G. Raine, W. Cooper, R. T. Pell, and W. Skegg. An official receipt for the borough's contribution to the Red Cross Fund, £179, was received. It was decidcd that the services of tho borough, engineer should be given, to tho Makara County Council, to advise regarding storm damage. It was decided that tho Karori Golf Club should bo allowed' to consult the engineer for some necessary work, on payment for. his services.
