The All Red—Northern Eose filly purchased by Mr. L. Simson at the Christchurch Bales is now* being handled by J. Ayers. She is a fine big black filly, and looks more like a four-year-old than a two-year-old.
Mr. \Y. E. Bidwell will be represented in tho Feilding and Oroua Stakes by Probation. A. Eeed was engaged to ride tho filly, but as Chakwana is to he a runner another horseman, will have to be found for the Kototawa candidate.
J. W. Lowe is taking Happiness, Chakwana, and Trickery to. the Feilding meeting, and J. Ayers is making the trip with Orniesby. Cliakwana will raco in the Feilding Stakes in which event she will have to carry 9st. Sinapis lias been giving Trainer J. Scott some trouble lately, and is not likely to be seen out at Feilding. Taringamtitu has Tesumed work at Trentham, and looks well after her short spell.
The price paid for Ballyhar was .£4O, and not 65gns. as was stated,yesterday.
Rongora, with A. Watson in the saddle, was schooled over hurdles at Trentham yesterday. Tho half-sister to Fashion Plate was inclined to run down her forces, but she would probably do a lot better in company. ' ,
