Woods and Co., Christchui;ch, as follows:— "New Zealand hemp eagerly required for execution of Army and Navy contracts. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following cable advice from its London- office, dated November 19-.—"The wool sales closed firm; 10,C50 bales New Zealand are held over. Greasy crossbreds are ten to' fifteen, and slipes are seven an.d a half to ten per cent, dearer than tho rates current at close of. tho September series.
