London, November 21. In tlie House of Commons, during a criticism of the business methods of the War Office, Sir Joseph Walton (Liberal) said that the War Office had bought over kliaki enough for fifteen million uniforms. _ Mr. H. W. Forster (Financial Secretary to the War Office) defended tho War Office, which, he said, had provided hutt accommodation for 280,000 men during the first four months of the war—a foat unparalleled in engineering Law'(Secretary 0 f state for the Colonies), replying to a criticism, said: "Every member may feel assured that the Government's actions and intentions are not influenced by the idea that, having made a_ mistake, tliey are going to see it out."
