LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, beg to advise liaviug received the following cablegram from their London office, under data November 19:—"Wool sales closed very firm. As compared with September closing.rates merino scoured super, par; good, 5 to 10; short faulty, par, to' 5; greasy, good shafty, 7; average, 5 to 10; wasty, 5; orossbred, greasy, fine, 10 to 15; medium .and coarse, 10; scoured, fine, 15; coarse, 10; slipe, 10 to 15 per cent, higher. Lambs: /Merino, par; crossbred, 5 per cent, ■dearer. . For the .Home trade 90.C00 bales were taken, for the Continent 13,000, and for America 12,000, whilst 23,000 bales are being carried forward for the next sales. . 'Sheepskins.—Merino and orossbred combings are Id. dearer, whilst clothing is Id. dearer; 4500 bales were offered, and practically all were sold." 1 'Messrs. Levin and Co., Limited, have received cable advice •from their London agonts, dated November 18, as follows:— "Wool sales have closed. Prices for merinos aro generally 10 per cent., fine crossbred ,12J per cent., medium coarse 10 per cent., and slipe 5 per oent. above opening rates." HIGH COMMISSIONER'S MABKET , REPORT. : The Department' of Agriculture, Industries, and Commerce has received the following cablegram from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, dated London, November 18, 1915, in regard to tho closing of the colonial wool soles:—

No. 14 south drive has advanced 18 feet, the pay values in the wash being confined to 2 feet 6 inches. The cast drive off No. 12 south has been extended 21 feet, the wash being payable for a depth of 4 feet.
