THE WAR LEAGUE'S PROPOSALS
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —I' have read, with much interest, in your issue of the 20th, the proposals of the War League in rogarcf to pensions and insurance, an outline of which had been previously given me by a member of the executive, but I was certainly astonished to see an attempt at the end of the article to bring about a form of conscription. I should like to know if the War League has fully committed itself to the latter' portion of this scheme.. Perhaps one of its members would kiudly explain.—l am, otc., WORKER. Wellington, November 20, 1915.
