The .Compulsory Coal Conference resulted in complete agreement on all matters in dispute in tie northern and southern collieries in Now South Wales. Probably agreements will be made covering; Queensland, Victoria, and Tasmania. • Mr. Justice Higgins pointed out that as many strikes were.for trivial reasons, 17he parties had agreed to provide Boards of Reference in various districts to which disputes will be submitted without stopping-work.
