SUBMARINE WAR IN THE MEDITERRANEAN

Britain aud Italy have drawn the attention of the Spanish Government to the possibility of German submarines receiving petrol aud other supplies on the Spanish coast, and have askod Spain to redouble her vigilance. It is belioved that Kabyles at sheltered spots on the Spanish Moroccan coast are assisting German agents. The "Figaro", states _ that German submarines are replenishing their stores at Corfu, off the Kaiser's Palace, where there _ axe special pumping machinery and oil tanks. AUSTRIAN SUBMARINE REPORTED SUNK. Rome, November 18. It is reported that an Austrian submarine was sirnk by Allied, torpedoboats. ONE CAPTURED, ANOTHER SUNK, (Rec. November 20, 0.15 a.m.) Rome,. November 19. A steamer which has arrived from Syracuse reports that the French captured an Austrian submarine off Tunis. It is also reported that tho French destroyers have sunk a lojge German submarine off Benmasi. 1
