The marine underwriteis have received a cablegram stating that fire broke out on the steamer Riouw (7526 tons, Now York to Auckland), on November 6, but was extinguished after the vessel had discharged, a portion of her coal and oargo, subsequently reaching Capo Town cn November 14.
