SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Owing to the large number of vessels in port there was a good attendance as the Sailors' Friend Society last night, when a programme was arranged by Hiss Scatchard and party. Items were rendered by Misses Jenson, Owen, M'lntyre, Flaws, Collins, Fairclough, and Master Sherwood, Messrs. Swinson, and Clarke (Rangatira), Purser, and Daniels (Kaikoura), Davis (Ka.ra.mea), Jacobs (Ruapehu). A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the performers.
