CRICKET ASSOCIATION
NEW FIXTURES.. The committee of the Wellington Cricket. Association met last ' evening, Mr. Crombie presided. It; was decided that no matches will be played next Saturday, except the Hutt-Trentham maeli, at Hutt. The fixtures for November 27 and December 4 were drawn as follow:—Tren-' tham and Old Boys, No. 1 Basin Reserve ; University and East, No. 3 Basin Reserve; North aud Central, No. 2 Basin Reserve; Petone and Hutt, at Petone. In view of the fact that there will not be any representative matches this year, permission will bo sought to make., a charge for the above matches. It was decided that the Marist Bros.-Hutt, match, Junior Grade, about the position of which there had been some doubt, should be treated as a oneday match. This decision'gives Marist Bros, a win'. •The treasurer (Mr. S. J. Wills) stated that owing to pressure of business he was compelled to resign his position. Mr. Gibb, tho secretary, will probably be asked to act temporarily as treasurer.
