CHALLENGE SHIELD - RESULTS. The results of the National Riflo Association's Imperial ohalleaige shield competitions fired throughout the Empire some months ago are now to hand. In tli© senior competition No. 24 Compaiv, New Plymouth High School Senior Cadots scoured 10th place, with an average of 8G ; No. G Company Christchurch Boys' High School Cadets, 17th place with 82.38, and No. 1 Company, Nelson College Cadets, 19tli placo with 82.'2. Each of the New Zealand teams mentioned won a prize of £3. In the junior competition 9th placo was won by No. 11.0 Company, New Plymouth Boys' High School Cadets with an average of 85.1, and 30th-place by No. 7 Company, Boys' High School, Ohristchurcli, with an axerage of 74.0.
