GETTING INTO TRAINING
YESTERDAY'S ROUTE MARCH. The weather interfered, somewhat with the attendance at)tlie v route :; niarch-.'yes-terday morning. Between 30 and 40 men, however, left Boulcott Street shortly after 9.80 and marched through the Kaiwarra 1 Gorge -to Khandallah, where they were most hospitably entertained by a well-known resident and his wife, assisted by a party of ladies. A brier stay was made there, and - after cheers had been given for the host and hostess and helpers, followed by a cordial invitation to come. again upon a later march, the party came home by the bridle track, reaching town ..about 1 o'clock. Those who, know the country round Wellington are glad of these opportunities of seeing it again, whilst those who are -unacquainted with it are STirprised at its beauty. The walk next Sitnday will be through Karori to the Makara Saddle, and those, who intend to take part are notified that the party ■will fall in at'the foot of Boulcott Street at 9.25, so that a start can be made at 9.30 sharp to enable men to get back in time for lunch. All men, young and old, 1 whether they can enlist or not, and visitors to Wellington are cordially invited to join in and get into training. ■
