FOR KING AND COUNTRY
Sir, —Mr. Norman Liardet is evidently more of a "fiery spirit." than a "thinker," judging by his letter. However, lot me assure him that I intended no comparisons between the two classes of men. They both have nyy unstinted admiration, the men whom I classed as "thinkers" who are enlisting now of their own free will, with a full knowledge of what is'before them, just as much as those who came forward with a rush in the first instance to fight for King and country.—l am. etc., • B. S. ABRAHAM. . Palmerston North, November 13.
