Six passengers and fifteen of tho crew, are missing. , Twenty-seven passengers and ninety-six of tho crew wero savcd. : It is semi-officially stated that an Austrian submarine sank the Firenze in tie vicinity ■•' of Syracuse, when bound for Port Said. Tho Firenzo's crew wero mostly Lascars, who abandoned thoir posts when tho submarine opened fire. After sis boat-loads had beer, lowered tho submarine sank tho Firenze by shellfire. THE ANCONA MURDERS STRICT INQUIRY INTO PIRATES' NATIONALTY. (Rec. November IS, 0.5 a.m.) Rome, November 14. The Italian newspapers .state that Italy has ordered an inquiry into the nationality of tho submarine whioh attacked the Ancona, and will declare war on Germany if it is proved to be German.
