Twenty-four hours after the announcement that the Allies had awarded a heavy contract for war munitions to the Du Pont Company, their powder works at Wilmington, Delaware, were partly destroyed by an explosion, with aeavy damage. Pro-Germans are suspected in view of the-remarkable disclosures involvinf the Austro-Hungarian Consulates.
