Total to date £100 5 9 'A bank draft (free of exchange) for a first instalment of jSJIOO was sent by tho 'Frisco mail" yesterday to tho Contra! Navy League Executive' in London. Tho special "Sailors' Comforts" Committee will expend tho amount to tho very best advantage on Christmas gifts for tho bluejackets and mine-sweepers in tho North Sea, Mediterranean, and elsewhere. No _ duty is charged on tho tobacco, and various big wholesale Anna are supplying these and other goods at bare cost. In view of the large number of men to be supplied with present, further donations are required. A second instalment is to bo sent in about a fortnight.
