Speaking at a presentation of kits to 31 men forming the Hastings draft of the 9th Reinforcements, the Hon. Dr. M'Nab paid a high tribute to the work of the medical officers on Gallipoli, where only 12 per cent, of deaths was due to disease, as compared ivith the Russo-Japanese War 25 per cent., Jio Franco-Prussian 35 per cent., and the African' War 63 pet cent.
