Advances through the usual agencies will be made, and competition for shipping space rmongst the States avoided. The Government will require to sell the wheat to agents', receiving commissions instead of buying and selling for themselves. The producer will bo paid the average flat rate for the season, instead of on the London parity at tlie time, with a final adjustment a year hence. Millers may draw on stocks stored by them at London parity at the timo of requirement, or may purchase for the whole season, at the same rate. BEER GARDEN IN SYDNEY. AN IDEA FROM THE "CONTINONG."
