London, November 6. Official.—Lord Kitchener has departed on a short visit to tho Eastern theatre.
ME. ASQUITH TO ATTEND TO THE WAR OFFICE,
London, November 5. The Press Bureau states that Mr. Asquith is carrying on the work of tho War Office during Lord Kitchener's temporary absence. It is not true.that Lord Kitchener has resigned.
