Smith, lion'.' secretary), forwarded £300, with, a promieo of £50 or £60 still to com© in, all for the Red Cross .Fund, for wliich from all sources the Mayor has already roceived £1505. Tho fund is now closed.Then a cheque for £150 was received from Miss Joseph, of Hobsou Street, to be disbursed as follows:—£so for the Belgian Relief Fund, £50 for tha Mayor's Patriotic Fund, and £50 for tlie Wounded Soldiers' and Sailors' Fund. From the Kia Ora Railway, Benefit Society, a cheque for £3 15s. wasreceived, to be used for the Mayor's War Distress Fund. Rod Cross Fund, £3 10s., from St. Mark's, per Misa Holm.
