STATEMENT BY GENERAL BOTHA. By Telegraph-Press Association—(lopjrielit Cape Town, November 4. ■ General Botha, the Union Prime Minister, speaking at Potchefstrooiu, said that the cases of imprisoned rebels would be considered on their merits, but that a general amnesty was impossible so long as the spirit of rebellion prevailed.~He adumbrated drastic measures against school teachers fostering the spirit of rebellion among their scholars.
