The Marama, from San Francisco, brought a very welcome shipment of apples, oranges, and lemons for the local market-. All this fruit arrived in splendid condition, but bananas were rather over-ripe in somo_ cases. Sydney shipments aro decreasing, this week's being the smallest. The iirst of .this season's grapes arc to hand in very small quantities; Vegetables are in very good supply for the time of the year. Huttgrown new pot atoes are to hand in small quantities. Potatoes, onions, and fresh eggs arc unchanged. Yesterday's approximate values ivere:—American oranges, 255. case; Sydney oranges, lGs., 235. case; American apples, 15s. ease; local apples, 7s. to 14s. Gel., according to sample and variety; American lemons 3604205.; Sydney lemons, 20s. to 275. ■ Mildura lemons, 2os. to 265. 6d.; pears(P.
