CONSPICUOUS GALLANTRY
MILITARY CROSS FOR A NEW ZEALANDER. By Tdesrajli—Press Association— Copyrieht (Roc. November 5, 1.25 a.m.) London, November 4. The Military Cross has been awarded to Lieut. William G. Berryman, of the First Dragoons (a New Zealander), for conspicuous gallantry on September 28, in carrying out a difficult reconnaisanco of great value on foot for a considerable distance- at Hill 70. He was heavily sniped at throughout.
