_ Eligible did six furlongs on tho sand in lmin. 1950 c., Sweet - Corn four furlongs on the sand in 50 3-ssec„ Playoff the Game in 52sec„ Crawford six furlongs on the sand in lmin. 28sec„ and Lady Elvsian four on the grass in 49 4-ssec. Master Strowan was schooled over the big fences, shaping in good style. After breakfast, Marco Bello sprinted four furlongs on the grass in. 49see„ Lady Kilwortli did. the same distance in 50 l-ssec., and Rekanui went five furlongs oil the two-year-old track in lmin. 2 4-sse'e. Tinkler, slightly amiss, did slow work. Rewi Poto beat Ngapoto over seven furlongs on the grass in lmin. 33sec., and Glenroy did four furlongs on the grass in 50sec. A lot of others were exercised.
