At the Supreme Court criminal sittings, Ullen Young, charged with stealing a Savings Bank book and operating thereon, was convicted and ordered' to como up for sentence when called on. Fred. Anderson, charged with lobbery with violence, was sen-enced to twelve months' imprisonment. Harry Nathan, on seven charges of issuing lalueloss cheques, was admitted to twelve months' probation on one charge, and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon on the others.
