CRICKET
A meeting of the Wellington Cricket Association was held last night, Mr. C. G. Wilson presiding. Porirua withdrew from the junior championships. It was decidod that a three-point win be awarded- to teams ready to : play against teams defaulting. Boys' Institute were awarded a win - against Porirua. . The following fixtures were drawn for, November: 6 and 13: — 'Third' Grade, November 6. —College At. Marist Bros., College ground; College B' v: Old Boys, at College ground; Petone v. Trentham, at Petone. Juniors, November 6 and 13.—Wellington College v. University, at College Ground,; Old Boys v. Trentham, at Basin Reserve; Petone: v. Boys' Instii ture, at No. 3 Basin Reserve; North v. Central, at Kelburn Park; Marist Bros. v. Hutt, at H\itt. Seniors, November 6 and 13.—Central v. East, at Basin No. 1; Old Boys v. University, at Basin Reserve No. 2; Hutt v. Trentham, at Lower f Hutt; Petone v. North,- at, Petone.
