SAFEGUARDS AGAINST AIR ATTACKS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright ("Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.) (Rec. November 2, 5.5 p.m.) London, November 1. The "Times" correspondent at Venice writes that the art treasures liavo been elaborately safeguarded from air raids. The famous churches have been covered with sandbags, and tho Doge's Palaco resembles a fortress. One hotel is open ,- the others have been turned into hospitals.
