NEW FREEZING WORKS

It will be noted in our tenders- column that the North Canterbury Cooperative Freezing .and Agency Co. (F. H. Labatt, secretary), are inviting tenders for buildings for freezing works to be erected near Kaiapoi, 12 miles from Ohristcluirch. The buildings are to bo' entirely of brick and ferro-con-erete, and will have a capacity of 2000 sheep and 50 cattlc per day. Power for the works will be obtained from the Lake Coleridge hydro-electric scheme, recently completed by the Government'. The design and supervision of the works has been entrusted to Mr. A. S. Mitchell, consulting engineer and architect, Wellington, and .will he completed within a period of six months.
